Lynda Day - Vocals

These days’ female vocalists are literally a-dime-a-dozen, but every once in a while one comes along that stops you in your tracks by their sheer expressiveness and deep soulfulness. Lynda Day is just such a vocalist. A seasoned veteran, she has the vocal power to slam you against the wall and at the same time, a vulnerability that will melt your heart and move you to tears. Comparisons to Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Eva Cassidy and Janis Joplin are not uncommon, but Lynda Day truly has her own voice and with a large and growing following, no matter where it is she is singing, her many loyal fans show up to lovingly and enthusiastically support her.

Lynda began her professional music career in her teens when she went on the road with various club bands in the 1980’s. By the end of the decade she had already participated in multiple tours and recording projects. She quickly became the girl everyone called to sing on their albums and in their bands. In the early 90’s Lynda recorded her first solo album, “The River”. Assisting in the production and performance on it were Jaymes Felix (Tower of Power, Bryan Duncan), Greg Eckler (Rubicon, Darrell Mansfield), Bob Anglin (Sammy Hagar, Darrell Mansfield) and numerous others. Lynda also wrote or co-wrote many of the songs on it. The album was a regional success and has since sold out!

Dave Day - Guitar, vocals

Dave has been playing music professionally for more than 30 years. Dave’s passion and soul as a guitarist will make your jaw drop!  He formerly performed with the “Mercy Blues Band" specializing in blues and blues-rock and released two albums, "Blues is My Favorite Color" and "Souled Out Blues".

Dave has played with The Karen Lovely Band, Gary Mallaber (Steve Miller, Van Morrison), Michael Vannice (Robert Cray), Darrell Mansfield (Blues Hall Of Fame Artist) Zoro (the drummer) and he has opened concerts for Dave Mason, Robert Cray, Paris Slim, and Curtis Salgado to name a few. Additionally, Dave regularly played guitar for Blues Hall of Fame artist Darrell Mansfield when he toured the Pacific Northwest. Currently Dave performs with Mercy featuring Lynda Day.

Denny Carmassi - Drums

He is a legendary rock drummer.  Along with Sammy Hagar, Denny was a founding member of the band MONTROSE. After Montrose, with his former bandmate Ronnie Montrose he performed in the band GAMMA. He later joined HEART (from the 80’s to the mid-90’s), WHITESNAKE, COVERDALE-PAGE (David Coverdale and Jimmy Page) and FOREIGNER. He is considered one of the great drummers of rock music.

He has an extensive resume of recording sessions for national and international artists. For his biography and discography simply Google “Denny Carmassi”.

Gary Nisbet - Keyboards, vocals, flute, Irish flute, harp.

Gary is master of many musical instruments. It is almost easier to list the instruments that he does not play. Gary comes from a musical family; his mother was a pianist/organist and directed the Bell Telephone Chorus in Los Angeles back in the late 60s to early 70s.

Gary took piano lessons at 5 years old , learned to play the flute at 10 and guitar at 13! But he didn’t stop there, in high school he had a great teacher who allowed him to learn oboe, trumpet, trombone, French horn, Eb alto horn and baritone! Gary has been performing music for over 30 years and is an accomplished musician. He plays keyboards, flute and the harmonica (to name just a few) at any given MERCY (featuring Lynda Morrison) performance.
