Whatever event or venue you are booking them for, you can expect 100% of their efforts to put on a professional and quality show.

The Band:

Lynda Day - Vocals

These days’ female vocalists are literally a-dime-a-dozen, but every once in a while one comes along that stops you in your tracks by their sheer expressiveness and deep soulfulness. Lynda Day is just such a vocalist. A seasoned veteran, she has the vocal power to slam you against the wall and, at the same time, a vulnerability that will melt your heart and move you to tears. Comparisons to Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Beth Hart and Janis Joplin are not uncommon, but Lynda Day truly has her own voice and with a large and growing following, no matter where it is she is singing, her many loyal fans show up to lovingly and enthusiastically support her.

Lynda began her professional music career in her teens when she went on the road with various club bands in the 1980’s. By the end of the decade she had already participated in multiple tours and recording projects. She quickly became the girl everyone called to sing on their albums and in their bands. In the early 90’s Lynda recorded her first solo album, “The River”. Assisting in the production and performance on it were Jaymes Felix (Tower of Power, Bryan Duncan), Greg Eckler (Rubicon, Darrell Mansfield), Bob Anglin (Sammy Hagar, Darrell Mansfield) and numerous others. Lynda also wrote or co-wrote many of the songs on it. The album was a regional success and has since sold out!

Dave Day - Guitar & Vocals

Dave has been playing music professionally for more than 35 years. He is the founder of the band “Mercy “. He formerly performed with the “Mercy Blues Band" specializing in blues and blues-rock and released two albums, "Blues is My Favorite Color" and "Souled Out Blues". In 2014 he produced the album Bad Habit for Mercy Featuring Lynda Day and in 2016 he recorded and produced his own solo album, Sound The Bell. Dave continues to do freelance music recording and post-production services.

Dave has played with The Karen Lovely Band, Gary Mallaber (Steve Miller, Van Morrison), Denny Carmassi (Montrose, Heart), Michael Vannice (Robert Cray), Darrell Mansfield (Blues Hall Of Fame Artist) and he has opened concerts for John Mayall, Dave Mason, Robert Cray, Ana Popovic, and Curtis Salgado to name a few. Currently Dave performs with “Mercy featuring Lynda Day” and ”The Mercy Duo".

Dan Weaver - Drums

Dan comes from a musical family. His dad played many instruments—piano, guitar, drums, bass, and more. His brother plays bass and guitar, and his mom plays the radio.

He started on clarinet in school in 4th grade, tried classical guitar, and soon moved to drums. He took lessons in school and some private lessons, but was mostly self-taught by listening to records from his dad and brother. Dan learned many different styles, including jazz in school, but most of his learning came from playing out with older musicians.

He played his first paying club gig at 17 and never stopped. His musical inspirations come mostly from rock and pop of the 1950s through today, and he enjoys many styles of music. He has played clubs and concerts, and has been an opening act with many bands—mostly local to Southern Oregon.

Dan has recorded and/or played live with many local musicians and bands, including: Milestone, Spare Change, Whitewater, Stages, Stickmen, Boy Elroy, The Wanderers, Full Moon, Full Tilt, Shawn Montgomery, Mr. J, Rob Gunderson Trio, Bret Levick, Not Too Shabby, Danielle Kelly, The Giantess, The Brian Swan Band, The Gist, Mercy, Gypsy Gillis, and many more.

He also has worked in production, including lighting, sound, and staging

Gary Nisbet - Keyboards, Harmonica, Flute & Vocals

Gary is master of many musical instruments. It is almost easier to list the instruments that he does not play. Gary comes from a musical family; his mother was a pianist/organist and directed the Bell Telephone Chorus in Los Angeles back in the late 60s to early 70s.

Gary took piano lessons at 5 years old , learned to play the flute at 10 and guitar at 13! But he didn’t stop there, in high school he had a great teacher who allowed him to learn oboe, trumpet, trombone, French horn, Eb alto horn and baritone! Gary has been performing music for over 30 years and is an accomplished musician. He plays keyboards, flute and the harmonica (to name just a few) at any given MERCY performance.

Demian Norvell - Bass Guitar & Vocals

Demian is a multi-instrumentalist with over 30 years experience. With a career that has centered around music performance, studio production, and live sound, Demian has contributed to over 65 albums from indie to major label, and mixed live sound for several high-profile gospel artists.
